On Wednesday night, Dec. 12, Bro. Larry Clark read Matthew 1:21 along with

several other Bible verses for the message titled “God’s Eternal Plan For Missions.”

On Sunday, Dec. 16, Edith Garner lit the Prophecy candle, Ted Dyer lit the Bethlehem candle, Junior and Linda Tucker lit the Shepherd’s candle, Dave and Shirley Bradley lit the Angel candle. Bro. Larry read Luke 2:10–11 as the scriptures for the message titled “Putting Christ Into Christmas.”

That night, Bro. Larry read Revelation 3:19–21 as the scripture text for the message.

On Wednesday night, Dec. 19, Bro. Larry read Isaiah 9:6 as the scripture for the message titled “The Promised Messiah.”

On Sunday, Dec. 23, Bro. Larry read Matthew 2:1-12 and Colossians 1:16 as the scriptures for the message titled “A Wise Man’s Gift.”

That night, we had our Christmas program, which consisted of a Reading by all, The Lighting of the Candles and The Christmas Story. This was followed by a time of food and fellowship.

Graveside services were held at the West Union Cemetery on Dec. 24 for Carol King, the wife of Tommy King, formerly of the Ore Springs community.

On Sunday, Dec. 30, Bro. Larry read I Corinthians 6:11-18 as the scriptures for the message titled “A Call To Christians.”

On Wednesday night, Jan. 2, Bro. Larry read several scriptures for the message titled “Christ Adversaries.”

On Sunday, Bro. Larry read James 1:27, Hebrews 11:1 and Matthew 7:21 as the scriptures for the message titled “How Pure Is Your Religion?”

That night, Bro. Larry read verses from Revelation 4 plus several more throughout the Bible. This was followed by our monthly business meeting.
