Pleasant Hill Baptist Church news

Greetings to all from Pleasant Hill at the start of a new year. We enjoyed our Sunday school lesson taught by Greg Hahn.

Our worship service started with Bro. Elwood, Vickie, Angela, Bro. Mac, Bro. Steve and Landon presenting a great program of music. Mallory West brought our special music with a solo.

Bro. Mac brought his message from II Corinthians 7:1-16 Sunday morning.

On Sunday evening, Bro. Thurman Penick brought the message in the absence of Bro. Mac.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of one of my dear friends, Harold Garner of the Three Point Community. He was the father of Monte Garner.

He was also the uncle of Brenda Cantrell from Pleasant Hill Church.

Jenna Moeller has been put on bed rest until their new baby gets here. Anyone wishing to help with a meal on Tuesday or Thursday, please contact Sharon Waterfield.

All the children started back to school on Tuesday. They have had a long Christmas vacation so maybe they will be all rested and excited to get back to work.

Birthdays this week from our church are Harry Caudle, Kyle Reaves, Larry Fowler and John Waterfield.
