Prayer ministry begins
A drive-thru prayer ministry has begun at First Church of God, located at 415 South Miles Ave. in Union City.  This new prayer ministry is open to the community, according to the Rev. Ron Gray.
 Anyone in need of prayer, for themself or someone else, is invited to drive up to the church entrance on Wednesday mornings, beginning at 5:30, and Gray will pray with them. 
“Remember, the Bible says in James 5:13, ‘Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray,’” Gray said.

To mark anniversary
All Nations Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ in Union City will celebrate the church’s anniversary Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Church of Jesus for All, located at 817 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Union City.
The Rev. Harry Hayes will be the host pastor and Dr. Jesse LO Webb of Brook’s Chapel Ministries in Fulton will be the guest speaker.
The Rev. W.L. Burnett is pastor of the church and he and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Revival to begin
Pentecostal Tabernacle, located at 16235 State Route 45 South in Water Valley, Ky., will be in revival Jan. 18-20, with Dr. Jeremy Mays as the evangelist.
Services on that Friday and Saturday nights will be at 7, with that Sunday’s services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Semester begins at SBC
The spring semester of Christian Life University at Union City Second Baptist Church will begin Jan. 23. Classes will meet Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. at the church, located at 831 North Everett Blvd. Three level one classes will be offered and there is a $10 fee due at sign-up, a spokesman said.
Divorce Care meetings will also be offered.

Breakfast slated
The men of New Hope Free  Will Baptist Church, located at 1102 East Vine St. in Union City, will host the quarterly Men’s Fellowship Breakfast at 9 Saturday, with the Rev. James Jones of Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church in Woodland Mills as the guest speaker.
All men in the community are invited to attend, according to the pastor, the Rev. Ron Smith.
