I hope each and everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday.

Sunday, Suzie preached from the book of Matthew on “We are the salt of the earth.”

Last Sunday I went with Mike. He was sharing picture from Sudan on his mission trip. In the United States, we would have a hard time living like these people do. He’s been to Africa two other times. The pictures are very interesting.

Mike celebrated his birthday. On this day when he was born, it was a large snowstorm in Chicago and we had to follow a snowplow to the hospital. Everything turned out okay.

Mike and I spent this birthday in Memphis. The weather was better this day.

Saturday we celebrated Steve Blake’s birthday at the Keg in Fulton, Ky.

My son Doug came home for Thanksgiving and also came home for Christmas.

My brother, General Prince, went into the hospital on Monday to have a stint put in the artery on the right side of his next. We hope everything goes well.

Thought of the week: “No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.”
