Donald Jene Bondurant, 82, of Paducah, Ky., died at 10:11 a.m. Jan. 7, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. He was the brother of Tommy Bondurant and Jerry Bondurant, both of Union City, and of “Pop” Bondurant of Sharon.
Services will be noon Thursday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah, with the Rev. Stan Durrett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
Visitation will be from 10:45 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Bondurant was a 30 year co-owner of McIntosh & Bondurant Television & Electronic Sales in Paducah. He was a former deputy jailer and supervisor for McCracken County, where he was employed for 10 years. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War and was of the Christian faith.
He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Marinena Bondurant of Paducah; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Ron Morehead of Paducah and Shela and William Koehler of Bloomington, Ill.; five grandchildren and the spouse of one, Craig Bondurant, Aaron Bondurant, Brandon and Brittani Morehead, Alissa Morehead and Kirsten Koehle; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Olene Ferrell; his parents, James M. Bondurant and Josephine Williams Junior; his brother, Richard Bondurant; and his sister, Joyce Barber.
