Scrap metal has been reported stolen from a Union City business.
Police responded Saturday to Southern Concrete at 112 Barham Road, where Harold Collier said scrap metal had been stolen from behind the building, according to a Union City Police Department report.
The metal included rollers, brake drums, drive shafts, rims, a hot water heater, an old refrigerator, broken chutes and various other pieces. The items apparently were taken sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning, police reported.
