Art classes for children and adults will begin Tuesday at the Obion County Museum at 1004 Edwards St. in Union City. The fee is $10 and supplies are furnished. A portion of the fee will go to the museum.
Homeschool classes begin Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. and will meet each week at that day and time.
After school classes for students will be at 3:30 p.m. each Tuesday.
Adult painting classes will be at 10 a.m. on Thursdays, with other possible class times at 1:30, 3:30 or 6 p.m. on Thursdays.
Those interested may call Marti Doss at 885-6774 or 796-0456 for information or to discuss possible classes other than painting, including drawing or hand-building clay.
Two contests are already up for consideration for students. The Eagle Art contest at Reelfoot Lake and an Aviation Art contest at Everett-Stewart Airport are open for applicants and Mrs. Doss encourages young students to begin considering a favorite air sport to illustrate.
