Edith Evelyn (Patton) Senn, 92, of Dukedom, formerly of Troy, died Jan. 4, 2013, at Martin Healthcare.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Dr. Vann Kissell, the Rev. Judd Mowery and Dr. Bobby Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in Old Troy Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Charles Harris, Charles Armstrong, Larry Wayne Armstrong, Robert Orsborne, Gary Southerland and Barry Lofton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Jones, Glenn Rudd, Wilba Scott, Ed Owens, Dennis Ladd and Jerry Guy.
She was born June 22, 1920, in Troy, daughter of the late Charles Burton and Daisy Eleanor (Lasley) Patton. She married Ralph Charles Senn in 1940. He died in 1954. She had an associate’s degree from the former Memphis State University.
She had worked for the Tennessee Public Health Department, the Internal Revenue Service in Memphis for 15 years, The Union City Daily Messenger and The Hickman Courier. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Troy since 1931.
She is survived by two daughters, Janie Eldred of Grand Island, Fla., and Emily Senn of Union City; two sons, Randall Senn and Phillip Senn, both of Troy; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
