Completed arrangements are being announced for Lewis Perryman “Perry” Emrich, 73, of Union City, who died 9 p.m. Jan. 1, 2013, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. The Rev. Eddie Mallonee and Shawn Chandler will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Chandler, Brady Chandler, Dillon McClendon, Adam Griffin, Russ Yates and Steve Emrich.
He was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Tyronza, Ark., son of the late William Henry and Lillie Beatrice (Perryman) Emrich. He married the former Mary Angeline Keathley July 5, 1959. She survives. He was a retired route salesman for Turner Dairy and a truck driver for Ford Construction Co. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
He is also survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Roger Norquist of Troy, Connie and Robert McClendon of Burns and Rhonda and Michael Chandler of Union City; three brothers, Charles Emrich of Kenton, Bill Emrich of Union City and Joe Emrich of Livingston; six grandchildren, Brandi Griffin, Kristen Chandler Yates and Brady Chandler, all of Union City, Shawn Chandler of Memphis and Dillon McClendon and Kylie McClendon, both of Burns; and his great-granddaughter, Lillie Claire Griffin of Union City.
