2013 first baby

FIRST WEAKLEY COUNTY BABY — Benjamin Si Blakley, son of Lee and Lana Blakley of Hornbeak, was the first baby born in Weakley County in 2013. He entered the world at 5:23 a.m. Wednesday at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is the brother of Isabella Livigni, 4. The hospital presented the family with a gift basket stuffed with baby items, as well as a case of formula. He was born about two hours before the second baby of 2013, a little girl, arrived at the hospital. “We were rushing to have the baby,” Mrs. Blakley joked.
