InsideTrack, a national student success organization, has opened its newest coaching center in Nashville.
The San Francisco, Calif.-based company plans to bring hundreds of jobs to downtown Nashville over several years, according to a news release from the state Department of Economic and Community Development.
InsideTrack’s mission is to increase the number of students that start and finish college.
From the Nashville coaching center, coaches will work with students and universities across the country to improve engagement, persistence and success.
The coaching center has opened in the Washington Square building, located at 222 Second Ave. North in downtown Nashville.
The center will employ new hires from the region as well as experienced coaches from InsideTrack’s San Francisco and Portland, Ore., coaching centers.
“I want to welcome InsideTrack to Tennessee and thank the company for the opportunities they are creating for Tennesseans,” Gov. Bill Haslam said. “Education and economic development are inextricably linked, and a well-educated workforce is critical to our state’s future success. It is especially exciting to celebrate a company whose passion for education matches our own.”
“Congratulations to InsideTrack on this new stage in the company’s growth,” State Commissioner of Economic and Community Development Bill Hagerty said. “InsideTrack’s decision to locate in Tennessee speaks highly of our state’s leadership under Gov. Haslam. It underscores our business-friendly reputation.”
