Audrey Estelle Williams, 93, of Hornbeak died Dec. 29, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Visitation will be held at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion 5-8 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial following at Hornbeak City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tillman Doss, David Doss, Brennan Barnes, Garrison Barnes, Blake Gregg, Michael Marshall and John Rauscher.
Mrs. Williams was born June 28, 1919, in Medina, daughter of the late John Earl and Wilmuth Viola (McNeal) Ligon. She married James Kenson Williams of Hornbeak April 16, 1937. They were married 74 years. He died January 2011. She was the owner of Estelle’s Beauty Shop in Hornbeak and was a member of Hornbeak First United Methodist Church and of the Mud Hens Ceramics Club. An artist, she was known for her Reelfoot Lake paintings.
Mrs. Williams leaves behind her son, Sherrill Williams of Hornbeak; two daughters, Donna Doss of Hornbeak and Michele Barnes of Union City; 12 grandchildren and their spouses, Renee and Gaylon Childs of Kenton, Troilyn Williams of Colorado, Leigh Ann Williams, Natalie and John Rauscher and Emily and Michael Marshall, all of Memphis, Jason Williams of Jackson, Tillman and Wendy Doss, Audrey and Blake Gregg, Brennan Barnes, Garrison Barnes and Avery Barnes, all of Union City, and David Doss of Finley; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Williams; and her brother, J.C. Ligon.
