In the studio, country and Christian artist such as Rascal Flatts, Mark Lowry, Trace Adkins, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, Jason Crabb, Carrie Underwood, Karen Peck and many others have had the opportunity to have him play on their records.
For the past six and a half years, Mote has been a permanent fixture on the Gaither Homecoming Tour, featured as a vocal soloist and pianist, and as musician for the Gaither Vocal Band. In this capacity, he has gained the appreciation of fans around the world with his humor, wit, charm and passionate heart for God. He performs more than 150 concerts per year.
He is the piano player who has truly played it all, a spokesman says. Highly acclaimed, multi-talented musician, entertainer, in love with God, husband and father — these all describe Gordon Mote, he adds.
“We have the opportunity to enjoy his music live,” says a church spokesman. “Come join us for a wonderful night with Gordon Mote.”
