Fortnightly Club holds festive meeting

The Fortnightly Club of Martin recently met at the beautifully decorated home of Maggie Byars.
Everyone attending were in very festive moods with the beauty of Christmas all around them.
The members were served a festive and delicious dessert plate by the hostesses Ms. Byars, Frances Cates and Nancy Gallimore as they arrived. 
Anna Goss, a second- grade teacher at Martin Primary School, gifted the members with a beautiful program of Christmas music. 
Ms. Goss has such a sweet voice and all enjoyed the Christmas songs she sang, which added to our festive mood.  
President Donna Jones led the group in a short business meeting after the reading of the collect. 
The minutes were read by secretary Carolyn Gresham and the treasurers report was given by Carolyn James.
Others present for the meeting but not yet mentioned were,  Jerrie Conley, Marion Fields, Mollie Gallien,  Lynn Gibson, Edna Harris,  Marie Nielsen, Judy Roberts, Barbara Trentham, Sandra Vincent, Linda Wade and Melba Wash
