Marion “Junior” Davis

BIRTHDAY NOTED — Marion “Junior” Davis of Hornbeak will be honored at an open house to mark his 85th birthday Sunday from 2-4 p.m. The party is planned for the fellowship hall of Home Street Church of God at 417 South Home St. in Union City. The honoree’s sons and daughters-in-law will be hosting the event. These include the Rev. Robert and Penella Davis of Dyersburg, and Charles and Nina Davis and the Rev. Mike and Sheila Davis, all of Union City. Family, friends and former co-workers are invited to come by to visit, a family spokesman said.
