Union City native Jon Moultrie has been honored by The Memphis Business Journal as one of the publication’s Top 40 Under 40 in Memphis.
Moultrie is the son of Bob and Louise Moultrie of Shady Grove Road in Union City and is the brother of Joel Moultrie of Union City and Debbie Decker of Stonebridge, Ga.
He and his wife of 15 years, Julie Grogan Moultrie, have three children, Kelsey, 9, Alli, 7, and Isaac Davis, who was born earlier this month.
Moultrie is a real estate broker and owner of Enterprise Realtors Inc.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Lipscomb University and a master of health administration from the University of Memphis.
In addition to his work as a realtor, Moultrie is very active in his community. He volunteers with Agape Child & Family Services in the F.I.T. Program at Bent Tree Apartments and is a member of the board of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. Moultrie is also president and chairman of the board for the Arlington Education Foundation, is a member of the board for ReFuel Memphis, is a member of the Shelby County Rotary Club, and is a deacon and Sunday school teacher at the Highland Church of Christ.
In the Memphis publication’s article on Moultrie, he lists his business and professional accomplishments as “operating a successful and profitable real estate company in the midst of the worst real estate market ever — it has been an interesting ride.”
As for the keys to his success, Moultrie is quoted in the article as saying, “without a doubt, any success I have had or will have in the future is due to the team of people around me, both at work and at home.”
