Communion service set
Faith Lutheran Church, located at 2012 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City, across from the National Guard armory, will have a Christmas Eve service with communion Monday  at 7 p.m. On Tuesday there will be a service with communion beginning at 10 a.m.
The community is invited to attend and a warm welcome awaits all who wish to come and worship, a spokesman said.

Service set in Hickman
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hickman, Ky., will have a Christmas Eve service at 4 p.m. Everyone is invited, a spokesman said.

Christmas services set
First Assembly of God in Union City invites the community to join them this Christmas at one of the three services scheduled beginning Saturday at 6 p.m. and continuing Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. For more information and church location, visit the website at www.uc1ag.com.

Special service slated
Union City First United Methodist Church will celebrate Christmas with a Christmas Eve communion service at 6 p.m. The church is located at 420 East Main St. The community is invited to attend, according to the pastor, the Rev. Stan Waldon, and the congregation.

Gordon Mote
concert planned
Gordon Mote will appear in concert Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. at Laneview Baptist Church, located at 158 Old Rutherford-Kenton Road near Kenton. Admission is free. A love offering will be received.

 To celebrate communion
Grace Presbyterian Church will celebrate the Lord’s Supper on Monday at 6:30 p.m. with a service of scripture readings and carols. The church is located on the square in Troy at 123 North Main St.
“We would love to have you join us as we pause during the busy holiday season to celebrate Christ and His work on our behalf,” a spokesman said.

Gospel celebration set
Brown Chapel AME Church, located at 802 East College St. in Union City, will have a gospel celebration, hosted by the congregation’s Willing Workers group, Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Beech Grove Male Chorus from Rutherford, St. Paul Mass Choir from Kenton and Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Mass Choir from Union City will take part in the program.
The Rev. Clay Holliday and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Church plans service
The Rev. Tony Smith and the congregation of Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 1465 Troy-Hickman Road near Troy, invite the community to join them in the sacrament of holy communion Christmas Eve from 5-7 p.m. There will be a come-and-go format for the service and all will be welcomed.

PV service plans told
Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church welcomes the community to a Christmas Eve service at 11 p.m. The church is located at 1422 Pleasant Valley Road in Union City.

Candlelight service set
A candlelight communion service is planned Christmas Eve at 6 at Union City First Christian Church on the corner of Lee and South Second streets in Union City. The Rev. Paul Sternisha and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Nativity scene slated
Calvary Baptist Church, located on East Reelfoot Avenue in Union City, will host the church’s annual live nativity scene Friday through Sunday evening from 6-8. The community is invited to attend.
