Wednesday evening, our song leader, Bro. Seth Fulcher, led us in singing “The Lily of the Valley.” Bro. Scott Fulcher led our opening prayer. We then sang “Heaven Came Down” and “Sweet By and By.” The youth sang “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.” Bro. Billy came for prayer requests, as always, so many. Bro. Tom Koker brought our Bible study from Deuteronomy 29:29. We had a circle of prayer with Bro. Billy giving the final prayer.

Sunday morning, we started services singing “Take My Hand, Precious Lord.” Bro Robert Pogue read from Peter 3:23-25. Bro. Bobby Doughty led our opening prayer and blessed our Sunday school classes. Our lesson was called, “Yahweh our Righteousness,” taken from Jeremiah 23:5,6. Bro. Jacky Alford led our closing prayer.

We opened services singing “Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus.” Bro Billy came for announcements and prayers. Our ushers, Ryan Doughty and Landon Johnson, came for our offering, with Ryan blessing it through prayer. We sang “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and “The Lily of the Valley.” Next, we sang “Happy Birthday” to Tresa Wolfe. Barbara Castleman and the little children sang “Away in a Manger.”

Bro Billy brought his message from Luke 1:46-56, “We need to celebrate the Lord.” Bro Danny Hazelwood led our prayer. Our song of invitation was “I Surrender All.” Bro. Gordon Wade led our dismissal prayer until we meet again

Sunday evening, we started service singing “Where He Leads Me.” Bro. Jacky Alford led our opening prayer and blessed the services. Next we sang “Have Thine Own Way Lord” followed by “In the Garden.” Bro. Billy came for announcements.

Bro. Joe Williamson brought our message from Genesis 1:26,27, titled “Why Do We Celebrate Christmas?” Our song leader and piano player came for our invitational song “Softly and Tenderly.” Bro. Bobby Doughty led our dismissal prayer until we meet again.

Our church had a good fellowship last night at our Christmas supper.

Sunday is our Christmas play and from there we are going to Weakley County Nursing Home and sing songs and bring a gift for each and every one there.
