It has been a busy week with Christmas events going on.

Our Sunday school class enjoyed a party at Richie & Reggie’s Tuesday evening. Those enjoying a meal of steak or ribs and trimmings were Billy and Dot Cavin, Max and Verna Lee, Thurman and Carolyn Penick, Joe and Joyce Lee, Bobby and Sandra Boyd, Ray and Linda Melendez, Vanoy and Vickie Cox, Shirley Cheatham, Rebecca Hundley, Angela Kellough, Dolores Mansfield and neighbor, Linda Bowers, Greg and Jenny Hahn and James Harelson. After enjoying the meal, some of the class went to Dolores’ home and played bingo and had a good visit and fellowship with lots of goodies.

Saturday evening Max and Verna Lee, Tommy and Debbie Mount, and Ricky and Donna Lee met in Clarksville for Max’s birthday. They enjoyed a great meal at Red Lobster.

Tuesday afternoon Joe and Joyce Lee and Max and Verna Lee met at Larry and Mary Fowler’s home and enjoyed playing cards and afterwards enjoyed some delicious chili and pecan pie, ice cream and coffee.

Later that evening Max and Verna had a great surprise when they returned home when their granddaughter, Maci Mount, popped in and made Max’s birthday complete.

Tommy and Debbie Mount, Maci Mount and Max and Verna Lee went to Trinity Musical City in Nashville last week. Maci called her friend, Ashley Byrd while there and she joined them for a visit.

Tommy Carr is back home after being in the hospital. We are glad to hear that he is doing better.

Also it was good to have Billy Cavin in Sunday school.

Bro. Elwood had shoulder surgery last week and is doing well. He led the choir in a special called “Mary Did You Know?” with his one arm being in a sling.

Bro. Mac’s message was brought from Matthew 2:13-23 and Job 1: 13-22 and a few verses from chapter 2.

Birthdays for this week are Tommy Carr, Max Lee, Ray Melendez, Matthew Tucker and Tammy Prather.
