Todd Harris Porter, Dr. of Audiology, passed away on Dec 2, 2012 at his home in Irving, Texas.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec 8 at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Irving.

He was formerly of Greenfield, born August 4, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Ira and Nelwyn Porter of Greenfield.

He was a very proud graduate of the University of Tennessee – Knoxville where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He was dedicated and passionate in his field of Audiology having received numerous professional awards and was a founding member of the Texas Academy of Audiology. He was a devoted member of The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer as well as a member of the Irving – Las Colinas Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane Wofford Porter, Irving; daughters, Cary Porter and Tanya Mathison and her daughter Morgan Speir, Bastrop, Texas; sisters, Nan Porter, Memphis and Janna Raney and husband Gary, Portageville, Mo.; nephew, Ryan Raney and wife Erica, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; sister-in law, Martha McFerron and husband Steve, Jonesboro, Ark.; nephew Matt McFerron, Athens, Ga.
