Thefts reported Posted: Thursday, December 13, 2012 4:00 pm The Messenger, December 13, 2012 The theft of items from a service station in Union City were reported to the Union City Police Department on Wednesday. Gladys Marie Hunt of Dresden, who owns the station located on Nailling Drive, told police that sometime between 11 a.m. on Dec. 4 and 11 a.m. on Wednesday someone entered the building and took a brown Oasis brand water cooler valued at $400. She said at some point earlier, an aluminum extension ladder had been taken from behind the building. Ms. Hunt told police it appears that someone also tried to disconnect an industrial air compressor that was in the building. |
