Winchester honored

Winchester received Meritorious Service Award, which recognizes leadership and service by individuals in support of their hospitals and health systems. Winchester, chairman of Baptist Memorial Health Care’s system board of trustees, received the meritorious service award in the board member category. She was recognized for her strategic vision, dedication and leadership as a Baptist Memorial Health Care board member for more than 10 years. Winchester began serving on the system board of trustees in 2002 and Baptist’s corporate board of directors in 2003. She served as chair of the corporate board in 2009 and has served on the quality committee and finance committee for the corporate board, as well as the executive committee for the system board. During her time on Baptist’s board of directors, Winchester aided the system in achieving a number of honors and recognitions. Winchester, chairman of First Citizens National Bank, is a member of a number of community boards. Published in The WCP 12.11.12
