BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION — Members of the Union City High School Class of 1960 recently celebrated their 70th birthdays, with 35 members present. The festivities began on a Friday evening in the home of Jenny and Robert Kirkland in Union City. As guests mingled and reminisced, they enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, beverages and music from the 1950s and ’60s. On that Saturday, the classmates met at Sassafraz Restaurant for lunch, followed by a guided tour of Discovery Park of America. The weekend culminated on that Saturday evening in the Union City home of Paula and Brooks Duncan, with a barbecue dinner.
