Our Sunday started with Sunday school being taught by Greg Hahn. The class will attend a Christmas party Tuesday evening at Richie & Reggie’s BBQ.

Sunday morning during Sunday school time, we enjoyed Don and Pam Lynch from the International Mission Board who have been serving in South Africa, but are now back in the states for three years. telling about life as a missionary in South Africa. They showed slides and had a display table of different things from Africa. We really enjoyed them.

Our morning worship was also brought with Bro. Don preaching and a baptismal service afterwards.

Randy Melendez brought our special music Sunday morning with a solo.

A group of 8-10 people left after church for Atlanta to go to the processing station of Samaritan’s Purse to help get the packages off to the children around the world, whom, otherwise, would not have any Christmas or hear about Jesus.

On Sunday, many activities will be going on at the church. The Brotherhood will be cooking breakfast for the church. That evening our children will be presenting a Christmas musical, “The Best Christmas Present Ever,” starting at 6 p.m. After the musical, we will have a fellowship meal in the fellowship hall.

There will be a ladies’ Christmas social at Sharon Waterfield’s home Thursday at 6:30 p.m. All ladies are invited to come. Bring a dish and a Christmas ornament to exchange.

The PHBC carolers went caroling Wednesday evening, followed by hot chocolate and cookies.

On our prayer list we need to remember Tommy and Peggy Carr who are having some health problems. Please keep them in your daily prayers.

Birthdays for this week are Tommy Carr and Max Lee.

Until next week, may God bless.
