‘EYE’ HELP SCHOOLS Posted: Wednesday, December 12, 2012 8:00 pm ‘EYE’ HELP SCHOOLS — Anderson Eye Care recently ran a back-to-school promotion in an effort to help patients give back to the schools in their communities. The clinic committed $5 on behalf of each of its patients to the school of their choice. The donations reached schools in Weakley, Henry, Obion, Benton and Carroll counties. Anderson Eye Care was pleased to donate over $1,000 to the local schools and hopes the monetary donations will help them purchase supplies so they may continue educating the future generation. A clinic spokesman said vision is a key component in the learning process and they are happy to provide vision care for children and infants, with doctors recognizing the trust and responsibility given to them by placing a child’s vision care in their hands. Anderson Eye Care is a family-run business located in Dresden and Paris. On hand recently for the donation were (from left) Dresden Elementary School principal Michael Laughrey, DES vice principal Melanie Needham, Anderson Stallings of Anderson Eye Care and Dresden Middle School vice principal David Lewellen.
