MSU past Evansville EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Isaiah Canaan and Ed Daniel each scored 21 points as Murray State extended its school-record road winning streak to 15 games with an 82-70 victory over Evansville on Saturday.
Canaan had 10 points during a 19-4 run to open the second half, including a 3-pointer with 12:07 remaining that helped the Racers (7-1) rally for a 55-43 lead.
Daniel also had 15 rebounds for Murray State, which won its fourth straight. Stacy Wilson added 18 points and Brandon Garrett had 16.

for ’Cats at Rupp LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Alex Poythress and Archie Goodwin each scored 15 points to help lead Kentucky past Portland 74-46 on Saturday.
Four Wildcats finished in double figures: Poythress, Goodwin, senior Julius Mays (13) and sophomore Kyle Wiltjer (12).
Ryan Nicholas finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds for Portland.
The Pilots (3-6) held court at Rupp Arena early in the first half. But Poythress scored two quick baskets to spark a 16-0 Kentucky run from which the Pilots did not recover.
