The theft of several items, valued at more than $3,000 and taken from two residences on Ebenezer Road west of Troy, is under investigation by the Obion County Sheriff’s Department.
The first victim, Greg Dial, reported his items missing Friday. Taken was a 16-foot flatbed trailer valued at $750, two Minn Kota trolling motors valued at $600, a 12-volt Everlast battery valued at $100, a six-gallon red gas tank valued at $100 and 10 assorted fishing poles valued at $500.
According to his theft report, Dial actually noticed the items missing the week of Thanksgiving.
The second victim, Ronnie Conner, reported a shed at his Ebenezer Road residence was burglarized sometime between 4 p.m. Friday and 6:45 a.m. Saturday. He reported when he arrived at his shed early Saturday he noticed a side door had been kicked in, a sliding door was partially open and his 1986 Honda 250 four-wheeler was missing. Also taken was an attached sprayer, with both items valued at $1,030, according to the theft report.
