On the night of Nov. 27, Janice Clark and Linda Tucker attended the Weakley County WMU book study at First Baptist Church in Sharon. Mrs. Ailene Edwards taught the study on Beijing. Everyone present enjoyed the presentation.

On the night of Nov. 28, Bro. Larry Clark did the Bible study from Romans 6:23 and Ephesians 2:8 titled, “Why I Am Glad I’m A Christian.”

On Saturday afternoon, Junior and Linda Tucker visited with her sister, Ruby Sutherland at Paris Landing.

On Sunday, Larry Cobb lit the “Prophecy Candle” and Paul and Cathy Brown, Sherry, Paul and Ivan Thomason lit the “Bethlehem” candle.

Bro. Larry read Isaiah 9:6 and Matthew 2:2 as the scripture text for the message titled, “God’s Greatest Gift.”

On Sunday night, we had the Hanging of the Greens led by Gary Jenkins. This involved a responsive reading and singing several songs. Bro. Larry then read several scripture verses.
