| | Santa Claus arrived in style Saturday evening in downtown Fulton for “Christmas in the Park” festivities sponsored by the Fulton Tourism Commission. The jolly old elf rode around Pontotoc Park on the Santa Express Christmas Train, provided by Richard Lewis, and was delivered curbside to the senior citizens building for the annual Supper with Santa, where guests enjoyed chili and hot dogs. Visitors to the Twin Cities event also shopped at a Christmas bazaar at Pontotoc Community Center and admired dozens of oversized plywood Pontotoc Park Christmas Cards created by businesses, organizations, churches, city departments and individuals in the community. The downtown Fulton park was aglow with twinkling white lights for the evening. | | | | |
