Burress, Campbell to exchange vows Posted: Friday, November 30, 2012 8:01 pm Lauren Nicole Burress and Alexander Thomas Campbell, both of Martin, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage. The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael and Valeria Burress of Martin. She is the granddaughter of Jesse Wilson and the late June Wilson of Sidonia and Sara Burress and Nolie and Linda Burress, all of Martin. She is a 2008 graduate of Westview High School and 2012 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a degree in education and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is a first-grade teacher at Martin Primary School. The groom-elect is the son of Shelley and Scott Robbins and Bryan Campbell, all of Martin. He is the grandson of Tom and Donna Taylor and Ronnie and Brenda Campbell, all of Martin. He is the great-grandson of Ophelia Taylor of Sharon. He is a 2008 graduate of Westview High School and plans to graduate from UTM in December with a degree in finance. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is a sales consultant at Taylor Automotive in Martin. The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 at Martin First United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at The Lindell.
