On Nov. 14, the men had Bible study. Bro. Larry used several scripture verses for the study titled “Faith.” The ladies met for their Women On Mission meeting with four ladies present. Janice Clark met with the young people in their class.

Pam Friar and Linda Tucker attended the meeting of the Women’s Missionary Union ladies at Adams Chapel on the night of Nov. 15. We started preparing sleeping mats from plastic bags that will be sent to Ohio to be used by the homeless.

On Nov. 18, Bro. Larry used Psalm 100 as the scripture text for the message titled “Thanksgiving Truths.” Following the church service, everyone enjoyed a time of food and fellowship. There were no services that night.

On Wednesday night, Bro. Larry read several proclamations that past U. S. presidents had written regarding Thanksgiving. We hope everyone had a  “Happy Thanksgiving.” We should be very thankful for all the blessings God bestows on everyone.

On Sunday, the “Lighting of the Christmas Candles” began with Johnny, Trudy and Matthew Henderson lighting the Prophecy Candle. We were privileged to have Bob Hathcock to speak on the work of the Gideons, which was enjoyed by all.

That night, Bro. Larry read Revelation 3:14 and I Timothy 6:18-19 as the scripture

text for the message.

We were glad to have Mrs. Dana Rogers in the service. She is the mother of Jake Rogers, our music director.
