We did not have our Wednesday evening service, but met Nov. 20 for a time of fellowship. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
On this Lord’s Day, we had a good Sunday school lesson titled, “Hit the Streets” from Acts 17:16-34. This lesson talked about the need for believers and churches to reach out to others with the gospel. This month’s lesson all came to this point today. We are to hit the streets and reach those who have not trusted Christ as Savior.
We were glad to have Bill Riddle here today.
We sang, “Happy Birthday” to Kelly Meeks and wished Bob and Mary Webb a happy anniversary.
In the worship hour, we were glad to have our visitors. Our songs we sang were “All the Way My Savior Leads Me,” “Go Tell it On the Mountain” and “Precious Lord, Take My Hand.” Bro. Hugh Brann read from Isaiah 9:6-7. The choir sang “His Name Shall Be Called.”
Bro. Kieth brought a very good message from Mark 8:22-26. We had one to come for rededication.
That evening “Just a Little Talk with Jesus,” “Wonderful Words of Life” and “We’ll Work Till Jesus Comes” was sung.
Our evening message was from Matthew 22:1-14 and Jude 22. We had two good services.
Sunday evening, we will not be having services.
