Bro. Bobby Peal opened service singing “Victory In Jesus.”

Edna Johle taught from 2 Corinthians 13:14 for the adult lesson.  We sang “Happy Anniversary” to Terry and Shirley Bynum.  Ashlyn Hagye helped lead “Let’s Just Praise the Lord” and “Alive Alive.” Mary led “Go Tell It On the Mountain” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” Bro. Bobby took prayer requests and prayed over them. Patsy Baker sang “I’d Rather Have Jesus.” Martha Kotarba sang “Sheltered In the Arms Of God.” Mary sang “Surely the Presence Of the Lord.” Harvey Dildine sang “Mansion Over the Hilltop.” Bro. Bobby sang “I’ve Been Changed.”

Bro. Bobby turned to Ecclesiates 1:9 and titled his message “Strive To Thrive.” It is good and humble to be called a Christian for it shows your relationship with the Lord. Today’s world is changing so much especially attitudes. Disrespect for God is being seen in all of the entertainment of today, particularly hurting our children. Christians today need reviving of the old standards of living and refer back to the Bible for instructions. Pray and seek the Lord for His will for the decisions of the world. God is still the same today and forever.

Our praise and worship service was opened with Bro. Bobby leading “I Will Enter His Courts.”  Mary led “Lily Of the Valley.” “Heavens Jubilee” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” Edna Johle sang “There’s A Whole Lot Of People Going Home.” Patsy Baker sang “Jesus Loves Me.” Bro. Lainhart sang “What A Day That Will Be.” Harvey Dildine sang “We Shall Overcome.” Lin and Mary Jones sang “Victory In Jesus.” Mary sang “Time After Time.” We had a time of praise and thanksgiving where everyone gave their testimonies of what God has done. We dismissed with everyone shaking hands and hugging to the tune of “I Love You With the Love Of the Lord.”
