The Savannah Arts Commission will present “Christmas by the River” on Saturday.
The day’s activities include:
• Make-your-own Christ-mas ornaments, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at Savannah Art Gallery.
• Holiday Café, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Savannah First United Methodist Church.
• Meet Santa Claus, noon to 2 p.m. at Hardin County Courthouse.
• Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides, 2 to 9 p.m. at Savannah First United Methodist Church Main Street lawn.
• Luminary-Lit Savannah Historic District, dusk to 9 p.m.
Other holiday events planned in Hardin County on Saturday, including a Christmas Tour of Homes, tours of Historic Savannah Theater, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Lights on the Lake Boat Parade, Christmas Cantata, “Country Christmas” entertainment and “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.”
