Donna Marie (Hinson) Sturgis, 57, of Troy died at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City Nov. 23, 2012.
Services were 3 p.m. Sunday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Revs. Drew Hayes and Charles Southerland officiating. Burial followed in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Wisdom, Jason Wisdom, Joey Hinson, Kris Ford, Carl Lattus and James Marvin Dunlap.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born May 23, 1955, in Obion County, daughter of the late Buster Brown and Mildred Louise (Wisdom) Hinson. She married Logan Sturgis, who died in June 1994. A Walmart associate in Union City, she attended Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Cory Jones of Union City; her daughter, Leslie Farrar of Mt. Pelia community; five grandchildren, Jack Logan Jones and Sam Jones, both of Union City, and Leah Farrar, Karley Farrar and Hayden Farrar, all of Mt. Pelia; her sister, Kim Moore of Dyersburg; and her brother, Danny Hinson of Union City.
