As Thanksgiving approaches, I would personally like to wish all of my readers a very happy Thanksgiving. Give God the thanks that He deserves for giving you a life to live and a family and friends to love. Enjoy your family time during this weekend set aside for recognition of thanks for all you have received and been blessed to have.
Do you need information about programs offered in Sharon? If so, please contact our City Hall at 456-2122 and they will gladly provide you with any information you need. This is a great community and we welcome you to stop in and visit our many places to shop or just stop in and see what different things we have for you to do.
From senior activities to a public library, you can find many things to do in Sharon. Our seniors do many things throughout the week such as play cards, horseshoes, shuffle board, and even have equipment for you to use for a little exercise. More information can be received by calling the Senior Center at 456-2213.
The public library also has new releases of books, computers to use, and many activities offered throughout the month. More information can be received by contacting the library at 456-2207. Be sure to look for their article in all Tuesday papers.
If you want your info in our birthday and anniversary list, please email it to me or call me with the information. You will find my info at the bottom of the article. November 24 Robin Roberts celebrates her birthday. On November 27 Angie Jobe and Denise Bradberry both celebrate birthdays.
The thought for the week: “When you are discouraged, remember that God loves you and He will carry you through any trial or tribulation you have to go through. We have to ask Him for His assistance and He will take care of your problems. Just remember that if you give it to Him to take care of, leave it in His capable hands and He will always do what is best for you.”
If you have a thought you would like to share with the readers, feel free to drop me an email or call me and I will put it in my article. My email is jaegardner@frontiernet.net and phone number is 456-9823.
Well, for today, that is all the news that is news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for one another, our community, and our military. May God have mercy on our land and bless you all!
