Dr. Silverman joins staff at Volunteer Community Hospital

Dr. Jeffrey Silverman has joined the medical staff at Volunteer Community Hospital and Martin Specialty Clinic.
Dr. Silverman completed medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajra and continued postgraduate training at New York University School of Medicine.
He completed his internship and residencies in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition, he completed a fellowship in cardiology through the Department of Cardiology at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Dr. Silverman said he chose a career in medicine for one reason: to help others. He specializes in treating patients with heart and vascular diseases. He performs cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, nuclear stress testing, echocardiograms, holter monitor and event monitoring, along with wellness services and preventive care.
Dr. Silverman is accepting new patients in two locations for the convenience of his patients. He is available at Hillview Clinic in Fulton, Ky., on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Martin Specialty Clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
