On Wednesday evening, we began services singing “Tis so sweet to Trust in Jesus” and “Sweet By and By” led by Seth Fulcher. Bro. Gerald Wilkerson led our opening prayer.  Our youth sang “I’ll Fly Away.” Bro. Tom Koker did our Bible study from Ephesians 1:15:21. We all need to read the Bible every day. Bro. Billy was not feeling too well, he needs our prayers. We closed in a circle of prayer for our pastor.

Sunday morning, our song leader, Ryan Doughty, opened services singing “At the cross.” Bro. Robert Pogue read from Psalms 51:1-2. Bro. Bobby Doughty led our opening prayer and blessed our Sunday school classes. Our lesson was titled, “Engage in Kingdom Building” from Acts 13:1-4. We may think we have everything, but we all need God first. Bro. Gerald Wilkerson led our prayer and blessed the preaching hour.

Our song leader led us in singing “Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus.” Bro. Billy came for prayers and announcements. He is having some medical problems and needs our prayers and also Ms Maxine. Our ushers, Wyatt Walker and Hunter Doughty, came forward for offering. Wyatt led the prayer and blessed the offering. We than sang “Just Over in the Glory Land.” Our last song was “The Lily of the Valley.” Bro. Gerald sang “He Will Be Your Lily in Your Valley.”

Bro. Billy brought his message from Acts 2:41-47. Bro. Tom Koker led the prayer and blessed all the prayer requests and for the lost. If Jesus came today can you say you would go with him?  Our invitational song was “Just as I am.” Bro. Ryan Doughty led our closing prayer until we meet again.

That night, our song leader, Seth Fulcher, led us in singing “Life’s Railway to Heaven.” Bro. Jim Riley led our opening prayer and then we sang “Sweet By and By” and “Standing on the Promises.” Bro. Billy brought his message from Matthew 16:13. Bro. Robert Pogue led our prayer and blessed the evening services. Our song leader and piano player came and we sang for our invitational song “Trust and Obey.” Bro. Jacky Alford led our closing prayer and dismissed us to our homes until we meet again.

We will not have services next Wednesday night.
