Atmos names new manager

Craig Rice has been named Atmos Energy’s new operation manager of the Paducah, Ky., service area.
Rice is responsible for overseeing all operations in the Union City as well as Paducah and Mayfield, Ky., service territories, which includes more than 40,000 customers.
Rice, a Massac County, Ill., native, previously held supervisory positions in construction and operations in Kentucky and central Illinois. He began his career with Atmos Energy in 1980 and most recently served as operations supervisor in the Madisonville, Ky., region.
Rice has been active with chamber of commerce organizations in Kentucky and Illinois and served as a board member for Leadership Hopkins County. He has also been active in home builder associations, the March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, MAPS and LIFE programs. He earned a bachelor degree with honors from the Mid-Continent University and was the 2011 recipient of Mid-Continent University’s Academic Achievement Award.
Rice and his wife, Tracey, will live in Paducah.
