Bro. Bobby Peal opened service singing “The Lily of the Valley.”

Edna Johle taught the adult Sunday school from Psalms 36:7. How excellent is thy loving kindness, Oh God. Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. Hunter and Ashlyn Hagye helped lead “Alive Alive” and “Glory Glory.” Mary led “We Have Come Into His House” and “We Gather Together.” Patsy Baker sang “The Shepherd Of My Valley.” Brittney Petty sang “Ten Thousand Angels Cried.”

Faye Peal announced our Christmas program would be on Dec. 23 at 5 p.m. with refreshments afterward.

Dec. 16 we will have an exchange Christmas cards night.

We sang “Happy Birthday” to Drew Byars who was 21.

Bro. Bobby turned to 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rejoice evermore and Philippians 4:4. Paul mentioned it twice to emphasize that he meant what it said. Pray without ceasing means to always be in the spirit of prayer. The Lord is concerned about you to have a cheerful, loving, joyful relationship with Him. Life without thanksgiving is devoid or empty, so praise the Lord any chance you get. Psalms 91:1-2, 5:2 and 101:5. Bro. Terry Baker dismissed the service in prayer.

We dismissed evening service so that we could support the four churches of Sharon hosted by First Baptist in a wonderful blessed time in the Lord. A great assortment of food was served by the ladies and everyone enjoyed the fellowship.
