The South Fulton City Commission’s regular monthly meeting has been postponed from this evening until Monday at 5 p.m. at the municipal complex.
The swearing-in of the newly-elected mayor and city commissioners is on the agenda and the delay in meeting is necessitated by waiting for the election results to be certified by the election commission Monday morning.
In addition to the swearing-in ceremony and routine monthly business, the agenda includes selection of a vice mayor, appointment of a commissioner to the industrial board and first reading of an ordinance pertaining to yard sales.
Monday evening’s meeting is open to the public.
