Bake sale scheduled

The Union City Afterschool 4-H Club will be holding a bake sale Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Tractor Supply in Union City.
The club is for students in the Union City School System who are in third through eighth grades and for home-schooled children. They regularly meet the fourth Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Obion County Public Library, except when a holiday falls on that day.
This month the meeting will be held this Thursday. The children will be participating in a public speaking contest, electing officers and making Christmas cards to send to soldiers overseas.
