Applicants sought for leadership program

The University of Tennessee at Martin and the WestStar Leadersip Program are now accepting applications for the second annual RisingStar Leadership Summit for high school juniors and seniors.
The two-day leadership summit will take place Nov. 29-30 on the UT Martin campus and the deadline for registration is Nov. 21.
Youth who have participated in their local youth leadership program or have been active in a leadership role at their high schools are encouraged to apply. Community members may also offer scholarships to help with registration fees.
