Spaghetti supper set Posted: Friday, November 9, 2012 11:37 pm The Messenger, November 9, 2012 Hudson’s Hope spaghetti supper is planned for Nov. 17 from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Raymond Phillips Junior Exhibit building at the Obion County Fairgrounds in Union City. Plates may be pre-purchased for $5. Tickets at the door will be $6. The menu will include spaghetti, crackers or bread and dessert. Donations to assist the Hayes family will also be accepted and tickets may be purchased at Commercial Bank’s First Street location in Union City, Foundation Bank in Obion, Blondie’s in Troy, Second Glance in Union City and Obion Farmer’s Co-op in Obion. Hudson, the son of Scottie and Michelle Hayes of Union City, is almost 3 years old and was born with multiple challenges. He has been seen by many doctors nation-wide and his family has been told he has a connective tissue disorder. Currently, he is undergoing Pamidronate infusions each month at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to strengthen his back for open back surgery and the placement of growing rods in his back. Surgery is set for Feb. 13, 2013. Scottie Hayes is serving his country with the 248th Engineering Co. in Saudi Arabia and has been in such areas several times since his son’s birth.
