The Fortnightly Club of Martin had its regular meeting recently in the beautifully decorated parlor of The First Baptist Church.
The members were greeted by Hostesses Edna Harris, Sandra Vincent and Marion Fields.
After a delicious dessert plate was served, the meeting was opened by president Donna Jones who led the members in the collect.
The minutes were read by secretary Carolyn Gresham and the treasurer’s report was given by Carolyn James.
Several items of business were discussed.
The program “Feeling Good About Yourself,” was introduced by Pat Watkins.
Felecia Tuddleton, owner and manager of “Felecia Bella”, a unique ladies boutiques located in Rutherford and Jackson, gave a presentation that made us all truly feel better about ourselves. She showed several styles being worn today and how to accessorize to suit the wearer.
Everyone had fun window shopping and making purchases.
Members present were: Carolyn Brown, Jerrie Conley, Marion Fields, Mollie Gallien, Carol Gibson, Carolyn Gresham, Edna Harris, Carolyn James, Donna Jones, Linda Slack, Sandra Vincent, Linda Wade, Marie Nielsen and Pat Watkins.
We were happy to have Felecia’s mother, Patsy, as a special guest.
