On Oct. 24, Bro. Larry Clark read Hebrews 9:27-28 for the message titled “Three Appointments.”

On Oct. 28, we had Harvest Day. Bro. Larry read Matthew 9:35, 38 and Proverbs 10:5 as the scriptures for the message titled “Sleeping in the Harvest Season.” This was followed by a cookout and games in the afternoon. There were no services that night. We appreciate all the visitors who attended.

On Oct. 31, Bro. Larry read Luke 2:53 and several verses in Matthew for the message titled, “Personnel Spiritual Growth.”

On Sunday, Bro. Larry read Matthew 12:1-14 for the message titled, “When Religion Gets in Your Way.”

That night, Bro. Larry continued the Bible study in Revelation 3:11-14.

We received word Sunday afternoon that one of my classmates, Mildred Hearn

Shanklin of Humboldt passed away. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Humboldt.
