Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step program for those suffering from the diseases of alcoholism, drug addiction, depression and/or hopelessness. The only difference between this 12-step recovery program and the other well-known program is that our Higher Power is Jesus Christ.
We meet every Tuesday at The Shepard’s Field, 500 Fowler Road, Martin at 6:30 p.m. for dinner then immediately following is our meeting. If you or someone you know needs help in any of these areas, please come to Celebrate Recovery. We offer food, fellowship and hope.
Right now we are working on a winter coat and shoe drive. We are looking for donations to help those in need for the Martin community and surrounding areas. If you have a coat or shoes, any size for men, women and/or children, please drop them off at The Shepard’s Field. We are very grateful for any donations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in calling Renee at 731-819-7905 or Danielle at 731-514-9462.
Sundays at 6 p.m., we are also having an all-out worship service and we are calling this the Lifeline. For anyone having any kind of problems, Sunday nights at Shepard’s Field will be your new Lifeline. Sunday night was our first night of Lifeline and it was huge. Many people attended who are hurting physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We are offering encouragement and healing and any other kind of help available to us. Lifeline is to minister to the needy and hurting people that have no other hope. Hope is abundant at The Shepard’s Field so please come and join us on either or both of these nights. You will not be disappointed.
