On Oct. 31, Robert Baker led us in singing, “We’ll Work Till Jesus Comes.” He filled in for Bro. Kieth tonight. Our bible study was from 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

On this Lord’s day, our Sunday school lesson was, “Pray With Dependency,” from Acts 4:23-31. Our lesson was about praying with dependency on God to transform people’s lives. Most people and churches have lost a clear understanding of what it means to depend on God, especially through prayer. In order to see lives transformed, we must look to God to transform them.

“Happy Birthday” was sung to Dana Stafford, KyLee Dyer, Joshua Doede and Charlene Harris. Others celebrating are Neil Cantrell and Kevin Hubble. Happy anniversary to Robert and Linda Meeks.

Following our song service, Bro. Kieth’s text was from 1 Peter 4:7, 15-19 and Romans 1:16. We had one to come for baptism. She was saved last Sunday.

In the evening, after a good song service, Bro. Kieth’s text was from James 4:7, 10. He talked about our submitting ourselves and humbling ourselves to the Lord. It was a good day.

On Sunday, we will be recognizing our veterans at 11 a.m. All veterans are welcome to come.

That evening, we will observe the ordinance of baptism.
