Chimes accepting names

The Chimes for Charity office is open and is currently accepting applications for food baskets to be delivered to less fortunate families and individuals across Obion County on Christmas Eve morning.
Applications will be accepted through noon Nov. 21.
The Chimes office is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. The telephone number is 885-2098.
This year’s food basket delivery will include 275 family baskets and 75 single-family baskets for a total of 350, according to Chimes organizers. Volunteers from the community will help sort, pack and deliver the baskets on Dec. 22, 23 and 24, respectively.
In addition, any local business interested in being a drop-off location for canned goods, non-perishable food items or toys should call the Chimes office.
Monetary donations to Chimes for Charity may be mailed to P.O. Box 661, Union City, TN 38281.
