Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service by singing “Heaven’s Jubilee.”
Edna Johle taught from Romans 11:33, which says God, is all present, all knowing and all-powerful.
We sang “Happy Birthday” to Terry Bynum and a visitor, Mike Brown.
The children of the church helped lead “What A Mighty God” and “He’s a Big God.” Mary led “The Hallelujah Square” and “I’ve Anchored In Jesus.” Faye Peal announced our ladies meeting would be Nov. 17 at 12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Prayer requests were made and prayed over. Patsy Baker sang “Please Forgive Me.” Harvey Dildine sang “The Victory Is Already Won.”
Bro. Bobby turned to Matthew 23:38 and 24:1 for his message which was titled, “Worldwide Signs of the Times.” When Jesus splits the skies there will be one church, because people you are the church. We, in the church, need to be good examples of God’s love and forgiveness. The artwork of the beautiful leaves of autumn on the trees of God’s handiwork are admired by many, but ignored by others. Today many follow the leader and forget about church but the Bible tells us to assemble together as one body. There are many signs of end times in prophecy, as the Bible states no one knows the time or place of Jesus second coming.
We dismissed evening service to support the revival at Bro. Stevenson’s Beech Grove Church with Cecil Bryant as evangelist.
